Since 2019 every Mexican phone number, mobile or landline, has 10 digits, for example 55 XXXX XXXX for Mexico City or 33 XXXX XXXX for Guadalajara. The old 044 and 045 mobile prefixes and the extra 1 after +52 are no longer needed. When an app asks for your number:
